Regular Training Schedule

CCOCC meets up at least three times a week for training sessions. We keep some of our gear beneath the Coffs Harbour Yacht Club and that is where you will find us, if you are late we’ll be on the beach or out on the water!

  • Monday Evening on the water at 6pm
  • Wednesday Evening on the water at 6pm
  • Saturday Morning on the water at 6am

On the water at 6 means be there 20 minutes early to help bring the gear down and launch the boats.

Junior Sessions

To all Junior Paddlers:

Junior sessions will commence this week with 45 minute “off the water” sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6pm. Wear your runners for these sessions.

From next week (daylight savings), the Tuesday and Thursday evening junior sessions will be paddling sessions, so bring your paddling gear. It might be a good idea to bring runners to each session, so if the weather doesn’t allow us to get on the water, we can do some fitness work.

I am proposing to run 8am sessions on Saturdays. However, I will be away for the next few weekends, so Saturday sessions will be announced on Thursday evenings, and will depend on volunteers being able to run the sessions on my behalf.

If you haven’t already joined the club, please do so this week. Membership costs $50 for juniors, and both forms can be downloaded from the Membership area of the website www.coffsoutriggers.com .

OC1 Training

We do the Sprint course around Mutton bird and Little Mutton bird Islands Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
Be early to be on the water at 6am if anyone wants to join the FUN.

There also seems to be a group gathering at 7am Sunday if anyone is interested,
…. great paddle, lots of fun.
