Coffs Coast Outrigger Canoe Club

Wendy suggested I post some links to places to stay in Coffs Harbour for visiting teams, spectators, sponsors and fans.
I thought you guys could help out by sharing recommendations and links to camp sites, hotels, motels, backpackers, backyards etc in the comments.

So to start the ball rolling :

• Park Beach Holiday Park is close to the Jetty. 
• Takeabreak is pretty good web site, Ruben advertises a couple of his units in Sawtell with them.
• Pacific Bay Resort Recently refurbished excecutive suite available at Pacific Bay Resort. Special rates for outriggers. (details on pdf)

Port Stephens is probably the best regatta on the NSW Zone OC6 circuit. If paddling around the beautiful bay is not enough for you then think of the dolphins you will see along the way.

The weekend consists of:
Changes race ~ 35km and 20km (novice)
Super Sprint ~ 10 km
Novice race ~ 6 km (1st season paddlers only)
OC1/OC2 races

Just thought I’d create this chat thread for things people find on the web related to Outriggers.

• Burleigh Point OCC (The Spit, Gold Coast) [Results] - 29th March - Grand Prix Marathon
• Gold Coast Cup [Results]- 12 April - Changes race
• Mooloolaba (Lake Kawana) [Details]- 26-27 April - Grand Prix Sprints
• Penrith Nationals- 17th-18th May - Sprints (Venue Calendar)
• Tweed Coast - 7 June - Grand Prix Marathon
• Hamilton Island Cup (depending on numbers) - 19th-22nd June - Sprints and Marathons and Changes

I (hope) I have just added all the members as users. This means you should have received a some login information which will let you check out all the secret club business. Not much to see yet, but feel free to login and have a play.
